Product Details
18ct yellow gold ring, bar set with a cushion-cut grossular andradite garnet, discreetly pavè set with 3 small graduating diamonds under each shoulder on both sides. The grossular andradite, originating from Mali, commonly referred to as a “Mali garnet” in the trade, is a natural mixture of two garnets species: grossular and andradite. The grossular andradite exudes warm golden tones reflected in the effortless yellow gold setting with the playful surprise of diamonds, hidden from view from the top. Grossular Andradite Garnet in fine gem quality is a relatively new discovery from around 1994. Large, faceted Mali garnets are very uncommon, and most of them are under 2 carats.: the gem in our ring is nearly 4ct These garnets are found in a continuum of colours ranging from brown, yellow, yellow-green, to green.
