Product Details
Dazzling brilliant lavender Spinel in trillion cut (triangle) mounted in a sophisticated geometric setting, allows the centre spinel to sparkle and dazzle enhanced by a border of brilliant cut diamonds.
Spinel can be found in a wide range of colours and collectors pay a premium to find quality goods. An ancient mineral, spinel flaunts vivid, saturated hues in a cubic crystal formation. The natural stone is often quite transparent and usually needs no treatment. Its ranking of 8 on the Mohs hardness scale makes it ideal for every type of jewellery. Spinel is not a well known or readily available gem, sourcing top-quality goods is not an easy task. As the supply of quality spinel is inconsistent, the industry does not promote Spinel, it is therefore relatively unknown and not usually stocked in the High Street. For this reason, Spinel remains an under-valued gemstone. This rare and beautiful gemstone in our ring will have completed a unique journey from the wilds of Tunduru, Southern Tanzania near Mozambique, where Spinel was only found as recently as 1994, to their eventual owner, who we hope will lovingly cherish the ring and wear it with joy.
