Michael Platt's passion for gems and jewellery led to an important meeting with a highly skilled Hatton Garden craftsman.

Michael opened the first Michael Platt jewellery shop in Wimbledon Village.
From the beginning, the emphasis was on personal service, expert advice and beautifully crafted jewellery.

When Michael retired, the business evolved, with the workshop craftsmanship and retail experience continuing to develop together.
A major milestone came with the expansion of the Wimbledon Village premises and the creation of an on-site workshop.
