We at MICHAEL PLATT take your privacy seriously and are committed to safeguarding all personal information received from in store customers and online visitors.

Michael Platt does not share any information (email, credit card, telephone numbers or addresses) with any third party. We never have done and we never will. We do store your email, name, address, telephone number and credit card details. We only collect these details for the purposes of carrying out our day-to-day business. Currently we do not undertake email marketing and, if in the future, we change this, we will request your permission to include you.

All individuals have the right to object to giving their personal data but failure to do so may result in us providing a lesser service and/or rejection of certain services we offer. The personal data we request will be required for an exact purpose; for example, we need your personal data to allow us to provide the service for which you are requesting, eg appointments, valuations, purchases (including processing orders, credit notes and deposits), repairs, restoration services and insurance claims and to be able to communicate with you about the product or service you may have requested or enquired about.

In line with our legal requirement, we will keep a record of transactions you carry out. If you contact us via email we may keep a record of that communication for later reference.

All Michael Platt data can only be accessed by employees and contractors who are authorised to do so, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If you believe that we are storing details relating to you that are incorrect please inform of us the correct information to enable us to delete incorrect information.

The capture, storage and use of your data is governed by the Data Protection Act 1998 and the EU General Data Protection Regulations. These regulations also give you the right to access information held about you. If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information please request it.
